HAT TRICK FOR CHANCE OF A LIFETIME AT THE REEL EARTH FILM FESTIVAL 2009
Chance of a Lifetime has won four awards at the annual New Zealand environmental film festival Reel Earth. The film was bestowed with the following honours, Reel Earth Festival Award, Best Cinematography Award, Best New Zealand Film Runner Up award and Best Feature Film Honourable Mention Award. The film also received an Honourable Mention Award at Bayou City Inspirational Film Festival 2009. Chance of a Lifetime is an inspirational 49 minute documentary that charts the survival of a community of wild falcons in the face of forestry logging and captures a turning point in the ecological evolution of the birds. The film has won numerous awards internationally for its creative storytelling in the wildlife and ecological non-fiction genre and has been praised for its outstanding cinematography of the New Zealand landscape.
