The Founder and Managing Director of Smiley Film Sales, Ewa Bigio is being honoured by the industry for her work in establshing and running the international film sales agency. Ewa is one of the 4 finalists nominated for the WIFT 2009 Entrepreneurship Award . Ewa who was also nominated earlier this year by the Minstry of Women's Affairs as a candidate for the NZ FIlm Commission Board is thrilled by the nomination. The WIFT Awards take place at Sky City on August the 9th. Congratulations also go out to past and current Smiley clients Leanne Pooley (South Pacific Pictures Achievement in Film), Jaquie Brown (Images & Sound Success) in Television and Julia Parnell (Great Southern Film & Television Woman To Watch) who are also being honoured the same evening.
