The memorable film Taking Root about Kenyan Nobel Prize winner and environmentalist Wangari Maathai is conitnuing to captivate audiences around the world. UK audiences will also get an opportunity to preview the film as Teachers TV has acquired the broadcast TV rights to show the film. Earlier this month, the film was nominated by US audiences for the Independent Lens Audience Award - one of four films selected. The film was also loved by Canadian film festival go-ers who nominated the film as an Audience Award Winner at HOTDOCS.
