Smiley is pleased to announce that Terra Incognita has been awarded the prestigious Peabody award. In its official press release the awards organisation praised the film as having neither sacrificed "scientific facts nor ethical complexity nor emotional drama" in telling the story of the neurologist Dr Jack Kessler who took on the case for embryonic stem-cell research after his beloved daughter suffered a spinal injury.
